Fire Prism > Everything Else

This picture pretty much speaks for itself.

Nice graphic. I got to get my hands on that game. Loved the other three. How does it stand up to them anyway?

The single player aspect is more of a RPG/RTS hybrid, with leveling up, new wargear and short missions. I love it, but there are a few people who really don't like it. BoLS sum up the single player campaign pretty well, in their review here:

Apart from a few balancing issues, I think the multiplayer part of the game is fantastic, but very different to the original DoW. Throughout most of the battle you only have 3 or 4 units on the field at most, which I think allows you to be a bit more tactical, and use the fantastic new cover system to your advantage. 1 on 1 games are nearly always won by careful use of the starting units, with single Tactical Squad being a pretty powerful unit to bring to the field, and a Dreadnought being the most powerful thing to expect.

3 on 3 games can be pretty mental, they really ramp the scale up. I've played games where there have been 6 or 7 Killa Kans in a wave from all the enemy players, and when that happens it's pretty awesome.

It's definitely my favourite PC game at the moment, it takes Company of Heroes and just makes it so much cooler by using the 40K armies and background.
